Dead Dicks 2019 film review

Dead dicks is one of my favorite genre flicks of the year it felt like one of my favorite films of the year in “Mega Time Squad” the comedy and tone was very similar and like Mega Time Squad everything was well crafted and well executed. The actors really had great chemistry and was very charismatic. The directors Chris Bavota and Lee Paula Springer do an incredible job with the pacing and everything involved with the storytelling. It’s playing at this years Fantasia Fest if you have the chance to go see it I would really recommend it. It’s a hidden gem in the festival that offers some big name films but if you have some time please check this film out it’s well worth your while.

The synopsis is as follows.

When a young nursing student named Becca receives a series of panicked messages from her older brother Richie, she rushes over to check on him. Following a seemingly successful suicide attempt, Richie, who suffers from mental illness, has discovered what appears to be his own dead body. When Becca gets to his apartment, they find more dead versions of Richie and together, try to figure out how and why he keeps being reborn each time he takes his own life.
