Red Letter Day is a new movie brought to us by Dread Central who knocks it out of the park with a look inside of an exclusive Purge what would you do if you got a red letter and were forced to kill someone? Would you do it? Could you do it? How would you react?

Those are the many questions answered in this film that is a mix of “The Purge”, “The Oath” and “Assassination Nation” that will be every genre fans wet dream mixed into one hardcore horror smoothie that will go down smoother than a mixed drink.

The performances are what help this movie elevate its premise that has been tried and true for the past five years in cinemas ever since The Purge has been released. It is really nice to see a fresh and low budget take on the tale however and see it executed(no pun intended) to high thrills and a great time.

Synopsis:

While adjusting to a new life in a quiet suburban community, a recently divorced mother and her two teenage children receive mysterious red letters instructing them each to kill or be killed.
