Three Christs Review
Three Christs is a new film directed by Jon Avnet(A righteous kill) it stars Richard Gere, Walton Goggins, and Peter Dinklage. It is being distributed by IFC, this may be tough viewing for some because it does deal with shock therapy especially one cringe-worthy moment with Peter Dinklage. Imagine One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest about three people who think their Jesus Christ this is what you get.
The performances from the three leads are phenomenal, Richard Gere is really solid as the lead actor leading the ensemble cast. However, he does something here that I rarely don’t see from him and he does a fine job acting. Usually in my eyes he’s often wooden while acting but here he’s at the top of his game.
Its also nice to see Walton Goggins(The Hateful Eight, Justified) do something different he’s a phenomenal actor that does it all from the small screen to the big screen. He really plays it straight here and you won’t dare take your eyes off his performance. Along with the scene stealing Peter Dinklage his performance in this should be the big takeaway here. The acting and directing make this the first great movie of 2020.
