Perps is a new short film by Alex Montoya Marin of Rebel Without a Crew: The Series fame. After he hit the scene with probably the strongest film out of the films Robert Rodriguez produces for the series in Monday he is back with Perps.
It is a laugh a minute ride for a good 9 minutes that never feels like it over stays it’s welcome, which is a problem short films are often faced with. Here Alex continues his portray into comedies. This one has a little less action than his feature film Monday. There is one great hysterical fight at the end.
If you have been watching No Activity on CBS all access and enjoying this short film is for you, wildly entertaining shenanigans including perps and two cops. Honestly I’d like the two cops in this short film have their own web series. Also for a short film it’s really easy to follow and well worth your time.
