Director Adam Carter Rehmeier may have created the most fun movie of the year that may fly under everyone’s radar while instantly becoming a cult classic in the making. Dinner In America has the most punk rock feel-good vibe of the year and most entertaining of its kind since Scott Pilgrim Vs The World.
The chemistry between Kyle Gallner(Veronica Mars fame) and Emily Skeggs is a sight to behold and I hope they reunite to do more movies and become the next movie couple we fall in love with over and over again! Emily Skeggs plays it like a young Janeane Garofalo and gives us a performance we will be talking about for years to come.
Ben Stiller might have taken a risk of producing a movie like this not knowing what he get in return but man does it pay off. It’s a movie you can watch over and over without it ever getting old. I can’t wait for people to finally check this out because it’s just such a great dysfunctional family comedy. That we will be playing with some of the greatest of the decade when it’s said and done.
