The Binge is a truly awful film that is the first Must-Miss movie of the year, we as critics often talk about Must-See movies but never bring up a movie that is a Must-Miss. Now I was really looking forward to The Binge, from the trailer it looked like Vince Vaughn was at the top of game and sure this movie has its moments where you can chuckle but not even to sing it’s praises.

One highlight I will say is that Eduardo Franco absolutely shines in The Binge and tries to carry it on his shoulda but he can’t even save the film even when he and Vince Vaughn share screen time. It’s almost as it Vince Vaughn has become the Bruce Willis of comedy movies and loves to be in films he clearly hates to be a part of.

The premise of the movie was clunky enough to have the set up of being a made-for-tv film which is kinda accurate why Hulu ended up picking it up but yet they have a sure fire Golden Globe winner on their hands in Palm Springs which will be this generations Groundhog Day.

However, every studio has their fair share of misfires this may not be as bad as I’m making it out to be I’m sure it will find an audience. It just wasn’t made for me.
