The Courier is a stellar knockout spy thriller boosted by powerhouse performances and admirable writing. With No Time To Die being pushed back, we don’t have a typical James Bond spy flick. However, it’s a great substitute especially if you have members of your family who don’t typically like James Bond but likes spy films. This is a good way to watch a spy movie, the way their supposed to be.
Benedict Cumberbatch, is an exceptional actor and he’s on a role this year and this may be best performance in years. Aside from his Doctor Strange outings. Jesse Buckley is a criminally underrated actor but after her star making year last year this will have you in tears with her performance as the wife.

The pacing is excellent as well making this a modern day spy noir thriller that’s for the history vaults and one of the best spy movies we had in ages. If you’re looking to kill time at the movies this is more than serviceable.
