Four Good Days is a new drama about painkiller addiction, it’s probably the best one we got this year including ‘Crisis’ and ’Painkillers’. The performances are top notch and Oscar Worthy. It’s phenomenal direction by Rodrigo Garcia who also co-wrote the screenplay gave the story and characters so much depth and agony, including the side characters.

Milla Kunis and Glenn Close give outstanding performances that will tug at everyone’s heartstrings and this is close to being Milla Kunis’ ‘The Basketball Diaries’ in a way where her performance is so grounded and powerful in every scene she is in and holds her own against the likes of Stephen Root and Glenn Close.

Even though this is not as great as ‘Ben is Back’ it’s damn near close and hopefully the Academy will recognize this movie when it’s that time of year next year. Hopefully we can see this on the big screen as well where it needs to be seen with an audience reacting to every heart wrenching scene and the tension in the dope house sequence which is breathtakingly phenomenal.
