Yes, God, Yes Review

Yes, God, Yes is a very entertaining coming-of-age story. Yes, the story feels very familiar with the audience it goes for. However, the movie succeeds in finding a niche with the audience of the adolescent irrelevant comedy crowd.

The story in Yes, God, Yes moves along nicely introducing us to all the characters and does a marvelous job with storytelling doing all of it in 75 minutes. Which is really refreshing when most movies now are at least 2 hours long.

The performance that Natalia Dyer(Netflix’s Stranger Things) gives will stick with you for years. It’s just incredible to watch her transform into her character and her performance in this along will have you screaming ”Yes, God, Yes” alone.

Karen Maine’s directorial effort is also a sight to behold with this intimate subject. It’s one of those little movies that could. You should check out as fast you can!
