We’ve already seen a few musical events from this year, since a ton of movies were pushed back last year due to COVID19 you would think if we as an audience would have musical fatigue right now. However, with Sing 2 it isn’t the case at all.
In fact Sing 2 is nearly perfect, the voice cast is at an all time high hitter all the high notes throughout the film including Scarlett Johansson and the scene stealing Resse Witherspoon. I unfortunately haven’t seen the first Sing, but was lucky enough to review Sing 2 this year and I am beyond exciting that I got the opportunity to do so.
This is the perfect family film of the season, that should get some Oscar nominations for songs and Best Animated Feature of the year, if not win Best Animated Feature, it had no business being as great as it was. It will the make your inner kid cheer and sing loud.
Overall Sing 2 is so darn good you may want to end up watching it multiple times, I know at least I do it was just a marvelous achievement in musical filmmaking this year.
